On Kosovo's possible independence
A line a Belgrade girl once gave me:
"You know, Serbia is like Nokia: every year they bring out a new model, and every year it's smaller."
Nothing exciting, James - she was a summer school student last year, so 10 years too young for me, but a very good (read black) Balkan sense of humour.
