The pipes, the pipes are calling...

Hmm, off to Northern Ireland this afternoon for a week's walking. Am looking forward to it, as have never been before and always enjoy discovering new places etc.

However, weather forecast is not looking too good (yes, I know the Antrim coast is not renowned for its endless sunshine) so hope I'll survive. Of course, I'll try to put up some pics and stories when I get back.

We're off to Crete tomorrow. We'd originally planned to go to Ireland but the weather has been so bad I thought Husband needed his dose of sun. Me, I don't mind grey skies.

Have a happy walk! And plenty of Guiness and oysters - or are they just Southern Ireland?

Spent my honeymoon in Northern Ireland in 1994 - during the World Cup! It was brilliant - just too short, being only 10 days.

My father's a Belfast man, so I was much looking forward to seeing the "old country" and I was not disappointed. We'd love to return.
I too love Guinness and oysters - so have some for me!

Lovely and no bombs to speak of this time round.
